registration pricing & information
We are designing this Workshop to be a hybrid event to allow those unable to travel to have access to content as well as a variety of other ways for all participants to engage and connect with colleagues in the agritourism community. We hope this hybrid option provides flexibility and the convenience of being able to participate remotely. Please see below for a brief overview of the hybrid format, as well as the registration options and fees.
What will the hybrid program look like?
In Person: There will be a comprehensive program in Burlington, Vermont featuring plenary sessions, a poster session, mobile workshops to visit agritourism destinations, concurrent presentations, a farm-to-table dinner event*, displays from sponsors and exhibitors, several networking opportunities, and the option to participate in pre- and post-conference tours around the region. In person registration also includes breakfast and lunch on the day(s) you register to attend. Experience these in real time in Vermont!
*Included with full conference in person registration; additional fee for one day only in person registrants. Virtual: We will be using a platform called Whova that will work in conjunction with Zoom to deliver online content and to serve as the conference site for the virtual participants. The majority of the program, including plenary sessions and all concurrent presentations, will be available to virtual participants at the same time that the in person event is taking place. Presenters may connect virtually, and attendees may participate in Q&A through Zoom. Additionally, virtual participants will be able to experience these featured events on the Whova site: poster gallery, sponsor gallery, and community board of discussion topics. Note: The registration fee will also give in person attendees access to the Whova site with all of the virtual content and engagement opportunities. Attendees will have access to this site before the event dates, and up to 3 months after. Whova has both desktop and mobile app versions. |
registration fees & options
The registration fees below are the same whether you select “in person” or “virtual” as your registration type*.
All registration rates are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Scholarships are available for those who demonstrate financial need. See details below.
*Why are we charging the same for virtual and in person registration?
There are significant technology costs associated with offering a fully virtual experience. All sessions will be available to join remotely by logging in to a Zoom session using the Whova platform. In order to provide adequate staffing to manage the complexities of this hybrid event, we deemed it necessary to charge the same registration fee whether you are attending in person or virtual only.
